WHAT WE DO

During Sogo Seminars' self-defense course, we work to instill the concept of mental tenacity, first exploring situational awareness while also practicing ways to verbally de-escalate a potentially dangerous or uncomfortable situation. When verbal tactics are no longer enough, we offer instruction on basic physical self-defense techniques for dealing with a variety of situations while using drills and simulated attack scenarios. In two and a half hours, you'll learn to trust your awareness, assess potentially dangerous situations, and be empowered to act on your own behalf.

"Ceren and Lindsay’s class was simultaneously fun, challenging, and informative. Both Instructors are well versed in their craft and make it easy to learn. They are a great team and their teaching styles complement each other. Lindsay and Ceren took the discomfort out of an uncomfortable subject and made all participants in the class feel more welcome. I left their class feeling more prepared than ever should a dangerous situation arise."
